Very kind, compassionate and empathetic staff. They were very considerate and mindful of all our requests. They were helpful, provided information and assistance in the prep and up to the end of the service. The ambiance was peaceful. The place and room were very clean. They were very cooperative to accommodate even a last minute request. They made everything very easy and smooth so we could focus completely on the people who came to pay their respects and also be calm and peaceful to grieve. They didn’t rush us and allowed us the time we needed to say our final farewell. We wanted to get paw prints of my baby to keep, the staff efficiently helped us with that too. When we arrived, they had already created the prints and showed it to us. The quality of the frame and prints were very good. They gave us options for the box to bring out baby’s remains back. Her remains were also packaged very well which made it easy to transport them and handle them to immerse later. They took very good care of my baby and dressed her up as I had requested. They handled her carefully and were very respectful. I was not prepared for it at all, didn't know anything about pet memorial up until she had passed away in my arms. I would like to share my persoanl experience with Hong Kong Pet Memorial with those who need services like theirs. They are very responsive, and can explain clearly about what to "expect", they came pick her body up almost within a few hours, put in container with comfortable bedding, the driver who came for the pick up was very considerate and even let her "look out the windows" in her last ride, gave us time to say goodbye before she left with the car. The memorial was arranged within a week, the place was very quite and comforting. No selling of "products" at all, even when I ask them myself, I got the sense that they try not to talk much about those memorial products unless I ask about details. Got a private room and a long enough duration to say goodbye to my rabbit. The body was kept very well, no feeling of her being cold ice at all, fur was soft and clean, face was just as she was. They even put her body on a little basket with soft towels, postured comfortably as if she was just sleeping in bed. We kind of found out after the fact that there are many other providers, especially those up in the Yuen Long area that they just toss you a block of ice with most features tormented...... This actually is the main reason of me writing a good review for HK Pet Memorial (in Lai Chi Kok). My rabbit was treated very well. Her size was small, so her remains were available for pick up after 1-2 hours. So you can just grab a snack or a meal near Lai Chi Kok, and pick up the remains on the same day. We also obtained an offical letter that goes with the remains, for us to cross custom if we ever want to bring her to another country. Very thoughtful. Losing a pet (a family member), is never easy, and during these heartache moments, it's always better to have good people to help out, and this place is definately the one.
